Only toys

"Do you only have toys or did you bring any real instruments too?" is a question we´ve got from a lot of sound technicians with pony tails and black zildjian t-shirts. Since we were able to pay ur rent with our toys we don´t get that question so much anymore but i just got reminded when i saw this clip, jump to 0:45.

The conclusion is that sound technicians of today have the same clue as television hosts in the early 80s. There are no real instruments. They are all toys. Sometimes also something else. Like bag pipes. They are the stomach from a goat, made into a toy with which you can make music.
